The honey bee uses a unique method to let its hivemates know exactly where it has found a food source. It does this through a bee dance, moving and wagging its tail to indicate the exact location of pollen, nectar and water.
Researchers at LASI have decoded thousands of waggle dances from their beehives and are able to know where their honey bees are foraging.
